This Privacy Policy applies to www.okaycun.com (“Site”) which is owned, managed and maintained by Media Prima Omnia Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 199701021126 (436623 M)) and TLKS Media Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 202001021566 (1377886-A)) (collectively, “Company”).

The Company and the Site are collectively referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”, and the users, visitors, viewers and/or the customers of the Site are collectively referred to as “User”, “you” and “your”.

By accessing and using the Site, you agree and consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our use, collection, processing and transfer of your personal information for the purposes of the Purpose. We maintain and retain your personal information for as long as you are a User in accordance with the current law and regulatory requirements.

We have the right to modify, update or amend the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time by placing the updated Privacy Policy on the Site. By browsing, accessing, viewing, downloading the Site, or by your continued engagement in the Site, following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy, such actions shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.


What is the information that we collect?

The personal information that we collect from you includes your name, telephone number, email address, or any information about you which you have provided or submitted to us and/or any information about you that has been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by us.

Can you restrict the processing of your personal information?

You may remove yourself and any of your personal information (save for the information which is necessarily retained by us to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, storage purposes, or if there are valid grounds under the law to retain, such as legal claims) from our database or require us to cease processing all or part of your personal information by submitting a written notification addressed to our Data Officer for our necessary actions. Please note that after removing your personal information, you may not be able to enjoy and/or access certain parts of the Site and/or the products and/or services available in the Site.

Upon such removal, we reserved the right to refuse, provide or cease from providing any access, facilities, products or our services to you.

Your personal information may be transferred

Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction other than Malaysia, to our affiliates, subsidiaries, jointly controlled entities or suppliers which are located outside of Malaysia and/or where our servers are located outside of Malaysia. You understand and consent to the transfer of your personal information out of Malaysia as described herein.

With whom shall your personal information be shared?

Your personal information may be transferred, accessed or disclosed to third parties for the purposes of the Purpose. Further, we may engage other companies, service providers or individuals to perform functions on its behalf, and consequently may provide access or disclose to your personal information to such service providers or third parties.

The third parties referred to herein shall include:

Email Announcement and Newsletters

We may update you through our newsletters about our new services and promotions. By subscribing to our newsletters, you are opting to receiving these email announcements. You can choose to unsubscribe from our newsletter or from our mailing list, at any time, by sending clicking on “Unsubscribe” button in our newsletter which is embedded in the email of the newsletter that we sent to you. We will also send replies to your questions, feedbacks, complaints or requests, via emails. Our communications to you are also provided through emails.

Cookies and Internet Advertising

Cookies is a simple text file that is stored on your device by a Site’s server and only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. Please note that we are not responsible for the collection, use, maintenance, sharing, or disclosure of data and information by such third parties. If you provide information directly to such sites, the Privacy Policy and terms of service on those sites are applicable and we are not responsible for the information processing practices or privacy policies of such sites.

Do we collect personal information from minors?

As a parent or legal guardian, please do not allow your children who are minors (individuals under 18 years of age) under your care to submit personal information to us. In the event that such personal information is provided to us, please contact us to inform us of the same. Regardless of receiving such notification from you, as the parent or legal guardian, upon providing such personal information to us, you hereby consent to the processing of the minor’s personal (as the parent or legal guardian of the minor) and personally accept and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and take responsibility for his or her actions.

Do you have to obtain consent from a third party when submitting their personal information to us?

Is your personal information safe and secured?

Security measures, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, are in place in order to protect personal information that we collect from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss. The said personal information will be stored and backed up securely in an environmentally-controlled location. Only authorised people with user ID and password from us have access to the information. All our employees and data processors, who have access to and are associated with the processing of personal information, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your subscription account and profile information.

Which version will prevail if English language Privacy Policy conflicts with other language translated version?

This Privacy Policy may be made available in other languages. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this English language version of the Privacy Policy and any subsequent translation into any other language, this English language version will prevail.
